People Who Open Doors Too Hard

I live in a large building and there is a common door to a stairwell near my unit. Recently, I noticed someone has been going in and out but instead of opening the door normally, they swing it open hard to it hits against the wall. It's not that loud, but I can notice it, and it is bothersome.

I have put some small bumpers on the wall to dampen it a bit, but I can still hear it. I have been looking into other options such as getting a larger bumper for the wall.

I have thought about confronting the person about it, but I have a feeling that might not be the best option. Someone who constantly swings a door open too hard to where it hits the wall does not seem like the kind of person who is considerate of other people.

It's not just this door. I see evidence of people opening door too hard in other places as well. Where I work, the stairwell doors are next to drywall and often we see dents in the drywall from the handles where people opened the doors too hard.

Anyway, I just wanted to vent about this annoyance that should be easily preventable if people would be a little more considerate and open a door properly.
