It's time once again to recap the best songs of the year. This list features recommended songs that were not super popular in 2016. Also for this list artists can be featured only once, but some may have a couple songs to check out. Here are Connected Isolation's top songs for 2016:

1. Lizzo - Good As Hell
Lizzo is an up and coming alternative hip hop artist out of Minnesota and this year she released a feel good anthem "Good As Hell". The song is up beat, very catchy and good enough to come in at the number 1 spot for the best songs of 2016! Also if you like this one, check out another one of her hits, Let Em Say.

2. Bad Lip Reading - Don't Stare At The Sun
BLR completes another year with hit songs and parody videos with their voice over dub style. 3. Organ Beats - Only Human
Noelle from the band Damone has a new band now called Organ Beats and this year they released a powerful rock song called Only Human. Her vocals are great as always and the song is on par with the best rock songs this year! If you like this one, be sure to check out her other band Damone.

4. Dirt Nasty and Mickey Avalon - Do It All Over
Simon Rex aka Dirt Nasty and Mickey Avalon team up again this year on a new EP featuring the song Do It All Over. It is a silly song with a playful beat matched with a video that is just as silly.

5. Green Day - Still Breathing
There are very few bands who have been around for 20+ years and are still consistently putting out good music. Green Day is one of those bands. This year they released a new album and are still rocking as hard as day one. Here is just one of the new hits of the new album.

6. Rachel Bloom - Oh My God I Think I Like You
Rachel Bloom was back this year for a new season of the comedy musical Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The series continues to release good songs with each episode. Here is one of the new ones which features beautiful melodies contrasted with racy lyrics.

7. Delenn Jadzia - Never Forever
Delenn Jadzia is not well known yet but she is new Youtuber who writes books and songs. Here is one of her original songs called Never Forever. Keep an eye on this up an coming talent!

Bonus Songs: A couple other songs from previous years.

8. Burmese Street Performer - Yangon, Myanmar
This is a candid performance recorded by travel bloggers Kyde and Eric of a live street musician in Myanmar in 2013. He is playing an interesting instrument which provides a drum beat as well as additional notes to accompany the signing. It only has about 1,000 views, but it is a good song more people should hear!

9. Sistema Toronto - Life Of The Party (Cover)
One more song to round out the list is a live cover of Shawn Mendes' Life of the Party performed by a music class at Parkdale school in Toronto. It features Phil Villeneuve who is know for his dancing videos. The result is a very powerful cover of a great song!
